Nutzmann Exteriors is a third generation construction company that tackles everything from complex home remodels to small jobs like fixing a persistent roof leak. We are fueled by our commitment to excellence and go the extra mile to make sure our customers are satisfied with our work.

DECKS | PORCHES

We are happy to repair and replace old decks, or build them from scratch. Our team is excellent at both the design and construction. The material choice is up to you- we frequently work with both composite and wood decks. We are happy to let you fully customize the shape, railings, and materials to make what you envision a reality.

ROOFING | SIDING | GUTTERS

Our team has extensive experience replacing siding and roofs! We can help chose the style and color that is right for your home. We also have a team that installs seamless gutters and downspouts to help control water flow around your home.

REMODELING | ADDITIONS

If you have something bigger in mind for your home, give us a call! We are also experienced in additions such as four season porches and garages, as well as significant interior remodels of kitchens, bathrooms, and basements.

Whole-Home Remodel

We are extremely proud of this whole-home remodel- from the modern kitchen with custom designed cabinets, to the microcement shower, it really turned out spectacular!

Steel Roof & Overhang

We are experienced in both seamed and seamless steel roofs. Metal roofs give houses a maintenance free solution that will last for many decades.

Four Season Porch

This porch was an addition onto a property that allowed for more space to soak up the sun.

Siding

This job used LP SmartSide's maintenance free board and batten product. We also are experience with traditional vinyl siding, as well as many other common products.

Deck Landing

This landing deck replaced some basic wooden stairs and provided a large space at the rear entrance to the home, as well as a corner bench.

Maintenance-Free Stairs

Do you wish you never had to stain your deck or stairs again? We replaced a traditional wood staircase to this screen in porch with a new, maintenance free version.

Garage Remodel

This project combined two small doors into a double door and added a new door in the back of the garage into the backyard.

Living Room Remodel

This living room remodel featured textured brick tile, a wood burning fireplace insert, and modern wood flooring.

Our Team

Tom Nutzmann

Tom got his start in construction before he was driving- working for his father's roofing business during the summer. Since then, he has continued his career in construction, while also working as a chef- most recently for the Minnesota's VA hospital in Minneapolis.

Matt Nutzmann

Since a young age, Matt has had a passion for everything construction. He began roofing and siding at a young age, and has an eye for identifying and fixing those hard-to-find leaks in roofs. For the first decade of his career, Matt worked full time at a construction materials supplier, while also working nights and weekends for Nutzmann Exteriors building decks, roofing, and tackling many other household projects. In 2021 he decided to take the next step for his career leave his job to work full time for Nutzmann Exteriors.
